General introduction

55 years of construction and development (1966–2022) of the Technical Drawing & Technical Drawing Group are closely linked to the transition from the Basic Science Department to the Architecture and Urban Planning Department and the 55th anniversary of establishment and 65 years of training of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.

The Technical Drawing and Engineering Graphics Department is responsible for teaching undergraduate courses within the system of Engineering Graphics and Technical Drawing, and graduate courses in the field of Technical Drawing and Engineering Graphics.

The generations of lecturers in the specialized group are trained in various fields and specialties, creating diversity in expertise to contribute to and develop the teaching content of the subjects they are responsible for. The senior teachers of the specialized group are the leading figures in the fields of Descriptive Geometry and Technical Drawing nationwide, serving as role models for future generations to follow.

In addition to participating in teaching, the professors in the department also engage in scientific research; they are editors and co-authors of many textbooks, lecture notes, monographs, reference materials, and articles... in the field of Descriptive Geometry and Technical Drawing.

Achievement

Certificate of merit from the Prime Minister for outstanding achievements in work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and protecting the homeland in 2001.

Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training for outstanding completion of tasks in the school years 1997, 1999, 2001, 2013.

For many consecutive years, it has been recognized as an excellent unit of the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering; an outstanding trade union team.
